Bike marking initiative

Hayes and West Wickham Police teams held a joint cycle marking event on 19.09.2026 

This was supported by Panagua Bikes, 50 Hayes Street.

This event was well attended. 28 bikes were marked and signed up to WWW.BikeRegister.com

There was also a crime prevention table where other members of the public without a bike could engage with officers. Towards the end of the event, we had a number of young bikers who were very enthusiastic about cycling. They were very knowledgeable about their bikes and passionate about riding them. They are very concerned that there is nowhere allocated for them to cycle. As such, this leaves them to the roads and streets. We will look at their concerns and see if there is a solution.
